I almost never use this tip, but some might find it handy:
C-x C-cThat is the key-binding to exit emacs, it runs
save-buffers-kill-emacs
, and the documentation for exiting emacs can be read here: Exiting - GNU Emacs Manual

Really? I always exit emacs using this key-binding.
How do you exit from emacs?

Yeah, I'm curious too. What key chord do you use to exit emacs? Or do you just never exit emacs?
Now this has to be the least useful tip in the series so far - who in their right mind WANTS to quit Emacs?.......
That's exactly it, I never leave Emacs, barring the need to reboot my system. Occasionally Emacs does get confused when someone else is editing a file and I get the (s)teal/(p)roceed/(q)uit prompt, which can cause Emacs to abort.
But other than that, I don't leave.
At work, we're required to log-off every night for updates, etc. Plus, to remote access requires the system to be logged-off, too.
At home, I hate leaving the machine running all night doing nothing but adding $0.03 to my electric bill (I'm cheap! and green).
So I use C-x C-c all the time.
But when I hear tales of the 100-day Emacs-session, I do turn another type of green....
